Welcome to the online home of The Jazz Funk Collective
The Jazz Funk Collective is group of young, but highly experienced musicians from the South London and Surrey area. Formed three years ago by Trinity College of Music Graduate and tenor sax player, Duncan Eagles, The band has recorded twice (with a third CD coming soon), toured ireland and played in some of the most respected jazz clubs in the country.
With the unique sound of Duncan's compositions that "reference singing bop, deep funk, phat horn parts and trippy time signatures" (Jazzwise), the band provide exciting live performances that have improvisation and melody at the centre of their sound.

- Leo Appleyard: Guitar
- Max Luthert: Bass
- Chris Packham: Drums
Over the years, the band has played at many renowned venues including: The Bleu Note, Dublin,
The Boom Boom Room, Dublin (voted Best Live Music Venue 2005 by The Dubliner Magazine)
The Bull's Head, The Ram Jam Club, Jazz After Dark (soho), Galway Jazz Club and Epsom Jazz Club.
